The belt system is now made of woven vented-fiber memory elastic. This stuff is good. It molds to the shape of your body and allows air to pass through, giving you the most comfortable fit available. The base pod loops are made of a cupped ballistic stretch nylon, ejecting the pods when released. The pod straps are now ballistic nylon also. No more dangling straps for others to shoot at.
